NCEES Registration for the pencil-and-paper April 2021 PE exams will open on January 27 at 10:00 a.m. EST and close on March 4 at 3:00 p.m. EST. Registration for the computer-based FE and PE exams is open year-round.

On August 27, 2020 the governor of guam issued executive order 2020-29 extending the stay at home order to September 2, 2020. Our office will be remain closed to the public until the order has been lifted.

We continue to telework, monitoring all emails and phone calls to our office from Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

By executive order 2020-27, the guam board of registration for Professional Engineers, Architects and land Surveyors (PEALS) will be temporarily closed in order to take every precaution to safeguard our community in its efforts to fight the spread of Covid19.

We will continue to telework with limited services. Our office phone lines will be attended to between the hours of 8am 5pm monday - Friday. We can also be reached by email at peals@guam.Gov.

Regular hours of operation resumed
The guam board of registration for Professional Engineers, Architects and land Surveyors (PEALS) has resumed regular hours of operation Monday - Friday 8:00am to12:00pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Covid19 update

 
Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive order 2020-14, relative to the declaration of pandemic condition of readiness (PCOR) 2 on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at 8 A.M.

In keeping with social distancing mandates our temporary office hours are as follows:

Monday - Friday
8:00am - 12:00pm

During the above posted hours we will be receiving applications for new registrants seeking licensure on guam, renewal application, payments and permit reviews.

For registrants who have sent renewal applications/payments prior April 30, 2020 renewals are being processed accordingly.  For registrants who were not able to submit applications/payment prior to the shut down, the peals board has allowed a 60 day extension for renewals.

We are actively working on sending out new and renewed registration cards/certificates by May 30, 2020 if not sooner.

The governor of guam has issued Executive order 2020-09 ordering the closure of all non-essential government agencies until ay 5, 2020 due to the covid19 pandemic.

The peals board will hold all applications for new registrants till further notice.

Renewals of expiring registration will be extended for 60 days from the expiry date April 30, 2020.

December 9 – Ncees registration opens!

February 20 – Ncees registration closes! 2/20/2020 3 PM EST – Note the time!!

February 20 – Ncees deadline for examinees to submit Ada, Military, and Religious accommodation requests to ncees (Refer to NCEES website for information) “Special Accommodations.”

February 20- Cancellation deadline for examinees. Additional, this is the deadline for an examinee to change their exam discipline or module.

Registration for the pencil-and-paper october 2019 pe exams is currently open and will close at 3:00 P.M. EDT on September 3. Registration for the computer-based fe and pe exams is open year-round.

  • Pe environmental-the pe environmental exam had its last paper administration in October 2018. Since November 26, 2018, examinees have been able to register and schedule cbt appointments, which are available year-round starting on April 1, 2019.
  • Pe fire protection-the pe fire protection exam will be offered for the last time in pencil-and-paper format in October 2019 and transition to CBT in October 2020. 
  • Pe mechanical-the pe mechanical exams will be offered for the last time in pencil-and-paper format in October 2019 and transition to CBT in April 2020.
